Liberty delivers a huge meal!
March 22, 2010

This video starts right after Liberty (M) has delivered a large, unidentifiable meal to the nest. Belle (F) drags the vittles to the rear of the nest where she proceeds to feed the day old eaglet. You can hear the eaglet peeping for the food! Belle feeds the eagle, then broods him to keep him warm.

Down to one Egg

This is the last picture of 2 eggs that we have. It seems as if one of the eggs has either broken, been buried or has been removed from the nest by the parents.

Clearly, there is now only one egg remaining in the nest.
So let's all hope that this last egg laid on February 13th might hatch somewhere around March 20-23rd.

Feeding eaglet just before nightfall
Unfortunately I did not notice any movement from the second eaglet.

It was reported on the blog that Belle was chirping and had assumed an egg laying position at 2:42 today and a second egg was seen. Here it is! So is this just a 4th egg, or the start of a new clutch? Only time will tell!
