River eagleWhile on a Potomac River float with the Potomac River Paddlers last weekend, Bob Cianflone photographed a bald eagle on the West Virginia side of the river, about a quarter mile north of Shepherdstown, W.Va. Cianflone said the eagle later snatched a fish from the river. Paddlers’ floats are open to anyone interested in a slow float to enjoy nature. WOW, PAULA, WE HAVE TO DO THAT SOMETIME!!!!!
Not sure how fast I can paddle but that would really be fun! Granddaughter and family were down on the Tow Path and also saw an adult eagle the other week. She said the children were just amazed at seeing the Eagle!
